The two people behind every piece
Mel F. aka Purple
Owner / Master Engraver
Mel is a proud mom of two kids, three pets and a loving wife who turned a tough situation into an incredible business journey. She was in management at a well-known engraving store that filed for bankruptcy in 2019 — which left her without a job… or so she thought.
With over a decade of engraving experience, Mel kicked off her adventure in 2019 from her bedroom closet with one engraver. Since then the business has opened a retail location, invested in more machinery, parts and software, and — after closing the retail store during the pandemic — grown into a home-based family studio in Hamilton.

Paul F. the laser guy
Laser Engraver / Director of Operations
Paul is Mel’s husband and a proud dad to two awesome kids. With a Business Administration degree, he backs Mel in the business while tossing around ideas to help it thrive.
On his days off from his regular job, Paul offers budget-friendly laser engraving to help small businesses and everyday customers. He has recently taken on a more active role — you’ll see him at vendor shows and on our socials too.
